Week 1: July 3-6 "Oh Canada"
Monday - No Camp today...Happy Canada Day!!
Tuesday - Polar Bear Clay Sculpture, East Coast Watercolour painting
Wednesday - Bug hunting art, Afternoon walk to Central Library
Thursday - Group of 7 Landscape Painting, Norval Morrisseau cut and paste
Friday - Finish up work, Picnic and Play at Central Park, Art Show 3:30pm
* 4 day camp week due to Canada Day holiday Monday
Week 2: July 9-13 "Around the World in 5 Days"
Monday - Hawaiian Flower Clay Sculpture, Spanish Tile printmaking
Tuesday - Mexican "Day of the Dead" scratch art, Iceland "Northern Lights" acrylic painting
Wednesday - English China Plate Painting, Afternoon walk to Central Library
Thursday - Tuscan Landscape Watercolour painting, Australian Aboriginal Rock Painting
Friday - Finish up work, Picnic and Play at Central Park, Art Show 3:30pm
Week 3: July 16-20 "From the Middle Ages to the Modern World"
Monday - Gothic Relief Clay Sculpture, Early Medieval embossed shield designs
Tuesday - Landscape Painting like John Constable, Start "The Scream" self portraits
Wednesday - Creating a walled city with printmaking. Afternoon walk to Central Library
Thursday - Still Life like Paul Cezanne in Watercolour, Edvard Munch "The Scream" self portraits in pastel
Friday - Finish up work, Picnic and Play at Central Park, Art Show 3:30pm
Week 4: July 23-27 "Abstract Week"
Monday - Foil Giacometti sculptures, Relief sculpture with plaster strips
Tuesday - Picasso "Three Musicians" Cut and Paste , work on relief sculptures
Wednesday - Painting with Pattern like Matisse, Afternoon walk to Central Library
Thursday - Drawing with your eyes closed Watercolour painting, Kandinsky tissue paper painting
Friday - Finish up work, Picnic and Play at Central Park, Art Show 3:30pm
Week 5: July 30-August 3 "The Good Old Summertime"
Monday - Aztec Sun God Clay Sculpture, "Blue Dock" pastel painting
Tuesday - Ice Cream Sundae mixed media, Tie dye shell paintings in watercolour resist
Wednesday - Popsicle Prints, Afternoon walk to Central Library
Thursday - Summer Sunset acrylic painting, Kite making 101
Friday - Finish up work, Picnic and Play at Central Park, Art Show 3:30pm
Week 6: August 7-10 "Illustration and Cartooning"
Monday - Holiday, No Camp Today!
Tuesday - "Family Road Trip" cartoon family portrait, Creature Character clay sculptures
Wednesday - Storybook illustrations with watercolour and black pen, Afternoon walk to Central Library
Thursday - Create your own superhero acrylic painting, Pet Portraits
